I get to see Glen Perkins

My dad sent me a message on Facebook with details to this year's Winter Caravan. Sadly, there is not one in Marshall MN this year, but Glen Perkins, Trevor Plouffe, Ben Revere, Tony Oliva, and John Gordon are all going to be in the area for this year's Caravan. Not only do I get to meet Perkins, but I will be able to knock off the biggest living signer of my 04 Just Rookies set, but I get to see him.

See, I was figuring that most of the board was mature enough to know what I meant. Sadly, I guess not.

I also want to clear something up about my sig as well, because I know someone will say "But you don't collect him"

I still have my collection, and I have no intention of getting rid of it. I am actually adding to it, but just not like I used too. I am taking a break to work on other collections. I am going to send in cards to be slabbed, and I am going to be buying some ultra-pro cases to get my base and inserts in order. I will return to collecting it, I just need a little break

I missed something... why the anger at Perkins?

Somebody should warn Perkins to watch his back when going home. That's not his mind playing tricks on him; that mailbox is really moving closer to him, and it's TBTwinsFan inside.

Yeah I will have a great time. I will get to hear him speak, and will hop in the end of the line and try to talk to him a bit. I doubt it will work though.

I personally am not angry at him, but I do think he is a jerk sometimes.

He is mad because the Twins sent him down for the '08 season (I think??) and he just took it out on all the fans. He won't sign IP at games or anything like that.

I think he should be a little happier... Born in MN, played for my Gophers, and got drafted by the Twins... lucky kid.
