Hey I've redeemed FOUR bonus autos and all 4 have been the same, Kyle Weiland refractor autos. But I did get a 1:60,000 superfractor dual auto Brad Miller George Springer! No scan, shop owner has it for ebaying.

Hey, the one thing I haven't seen from this stuff is the Hobby Pack odds. Can you post them please? Sorry about your hitless box. Maybe Hobby is becoming the new retail and visa versa??

Having opened a bunch of retail, the product is definitely hit or miss. The big hits (and tons of autos) are not totally representative of all the retail...I got a whole bunch (blasters/racks) with no real hits at all and a whole bunch of either people did too (they just didn't post it, cause let's face it, base is boring).

Topps really seems to have blown it with the allocation of this product...there's no reason for it to be so unbalanced, box/pack to box/pack, and especially not in hobby. Not to mention the "mystery" auto redemptions are just lazy.

But anyway, sucks about your box, I'd contact them tomorrow..I'd be pissed.

Claremont?

If so how much did they charge.

Thanks!
Hey Brent, yep. $129, pricey but whatever.

Yeah i wasn't exactly pleased but I'm sure Topps will make it right. Just kinda suck that I have no shot at getting anything any good as a replacement. :( Oh well, I don't really blame them for sending out crap because I'm sure people do try to take advantage of them.

Here's a scan of the pack. Hope you can read it...

Did you guys notice on the back of every jersey auto it says "Autographed Multi-Color Relic Patch" I redeemed a Heyward because I thought it would be a patch but it turns out it'll just be a plain jersey auto #d to 740 like all the rest.

We need to start a thread to monitor the Bowman Platinum Hobby Box breaks specifically. When Topps pushed back the release date of hobby, they stated that there were errors made. I'm curious to find out what the error was. It seems like it could have been a production/collation error that caused many autos and relic autos to be placed into blasters (retail) rather than hobby.

To be honest, I opened up a total of 4 blasters of bowman platinum. 2 out of the 4 had hits. 1 blaster out of the 2 had a patch relic auto /50 and auto prospect card in the same box. I mean it could just be luck, but judging from the feedback I've read from others, it seems to be a very sporadic product. You either hit really big or you don't hit at all.

I'd contact topps immediately. Nobody should pay good money for a box of cards and be shorted hits like that. It's one thing to say the odds are the odds, but collecting is getting to be so expensive now....the quality control should be superior. Then again, it could be many different issues that we (the public) are unaware of.

I'm going to go out on a limb and state that the listed odds for retail are incorrect.

No doubt people have been sandbagging their bad blaster breaks, but the sheer number of parallel autographs and inserts do not jive with those totals at all.

I have cracked two blasters...and hit a Green Auto, a Blue Auto and a Red Refractor prospect.

Sure, it could be dumb luck but two blasters have yielded...
- Red Refractor Prospect Parallel - 1:3,400
- Blue Refractor Autograph Parallel - 1:690
- Green Refractor Autograph Parallel - 1:346
- Refractor Prospect Parallel - 1:87

Retail boxes this year seem to be getting closer and closer to what Hobby should be, and it's not just this product...but most Topps products.
