Heaven forbid they have some accountability. They knew the rules and knowingly broke them.

Also, they are paid (as the articles implies otherwise). It is called a scholarship for FREE TUITION. I am sick of hearing that college players should get paid.

Give a college football player a fish, and you feed him a meal for a day...and probably violate NCAA gift regulations.

Teach a college football player how to fish, and you've given him what he needs for life after football, which will come at some point one way or another....and you've also taught that player more than most Ohio State student athletes learn anyway  .

Total hypocrisy. Jim Tressel makes $3.5 million per year, but if a player (heaven forbid) trades away his 'Golden Pants' Award (just sounds so wrong), people start wailing and wringing their hands about amateurism. College football is not an amateur game, and anyone who thinks so is just being willfully stupid.

I don't have anything against OSU, but they deserve what they get. They know exactly the types of players they're recruiting, but they keep going after the Maurice Claretts of the world because they'll sell their souls to win games. If the Buckeyes get burned, so be it.
