Just a heads up it's only actually 6 cards for $173

Mystery pack is 1 card

Reg. Box is 2 Hits and 3 base cards

and it's average at best

look at completed items on eBay. unless you hit one of the ridiculous bat barrels or cuts, it's one of the worst ROI products you can bust.
Plus for 2010, they have only averaged 3 autos per 10 box case, mostly stickers

He's right - don't buy it... Only buy the older Topps Sterlings (2007/2008) if there are any.

2007 you at least have a shot at a 1 per case Mantle or Bonds box, and I believe the only REALLY bad boxes were Justin Morneau.
2006, 2007, 2008 were mostly HOFers/legends. 2006 was all on-card autos

There wasn't one year where Sterling was worth the money.Even though 2006 was pretty good content wise it still wasn't worth the money.

i believe 2008 had all HOF players in it. I bought 7 boxes and hit 2 1/1 (ernie banks 6 swatch relic and a yogi berra jumbo swatch/auto) the other cards were pretty good. i sold them all on the bay and made my money back plus a couple bucks. so go with 2008

was going to try and pull up the checklists for you, but of course Beckett is down. ::facepalm::

Anyway, Sterling has never been all HOfers. And since 2007, has been required by MLBP to have active players in it.
2006 & 2008, by far, have the highest % of HOFers.

2006 Topps Sterling Player Checklist:
Barry Bonds
Mickey Mantle

2007 Topps Sterling Checklist

2008, I think they got away with it by putting other players in the jumbo relic set. And if you look at completed
item prices; even if you pull Ford, Banks, Berra, Gibson, Gwynn, Jackson, Killebrew, Mattingly, Molitor, Musial, Murray, Palmer,
Seaver, Snider, you are still looking at a $40-60 card from a $200+ dollar box.

Babe Ruth
Ernie Banks
Johnny Bench
Yogi Berra
George Brett
Roy Campanella
Roberto Clemente
Ty Cobb
Joe DiMaggio
Whitey Ford
Jimmie Foxx
Lou Gehrig
Bob Gibson
Tony Gwynn
Rogers Hornsby
Reggie Jackson
Harmon Killebrew
Mickey Mantle
Roger Maris

Roy Campanella
Rogers Hornsby
Lou Gehrig

2009 & 2010 the product just went all to hell with the "theme boxes" and TONS of current players.

no.........probably the most overpriced product out there. And it's not even worth thinking about, but it's your money. Just know that the odds are steep in getting something good, or even auto'd.
