Now that Alomar has been elected, the cheapest RC ($2 bv) and earliest RC (1988) of a HOF player both belong to him. He "beat out" Goose ($6) and Puckett (1985).
Now that Blyleven has been elected, there are only two Topps reg. sets issued between 1952 and 1980 with no HOF player RC's (1953, 1970). His RC was in 1971 Topps which previously did not have a HOF RC.
