With the playoffs coming thought I would see if anyone would be interested in playing. There will be a spot on facebook as well with everyone's team so you can follow how you are doing against everyone
$10 Fantasy Football in the Playoffs?! Challenge
The rules are very simple, you pay $10 per line up you want to enter and you choose from the pool of players playing in the 2010 NFL playoffs. The line up sticks throughout the playoffs so if your player loses his game, his point total is final. Each week players points add up and the player with the most, wins.
Fill out this line up card to play:
Quarterback:
Running Back:
Running Back:
Wide Receiver:
Wide Receiver:
Wide Receiver:
Tight End:
Kicker:
Defense/Special Teams:
(for tie breaker purposes)
Super Bowl Winning Team:
Total Points Scored in Super Bowl:
There is no bench, no waiver wire, it’s a survival setup. Your line up stays as long as his team stays.
The players’ scoring is also pretty easy. Check out this table! All points are cumulative, (designed like our fantasy league is now for scoring, except you now earn fractions)
Scoring Event: Points Earned
Passing Touchdown: 3 Points
Every 30 Passing Yards: 1 Point
Bonus for 300 Passing Yard Game: 1 Point
Bonus for 400 Passing Yard Game: 1 Point
Rushing Touchdown: 6 Points
Every 10 Rushing Yards: 1 Point
Bonus for 100 Rushing Yard Game: 1 Point
Bonus for 200 Rushing Yard Game: 1 Point
Receiving Touchdown: 6 Points
Every 25 Receiving Yards: 1 Point
Bonus for 100 Receiving Yard Game: 1 Point
Bonus for 200 Receiving Yard Game: 1 Point
Field Goal Made: 3 Points
Extra Point Made: 1 Point
Defensive/Special Teams Touchdown: 6 Points
Defensive Turnover Forced: 2 Point
Defensive Sack Forced: 1 Point
Any 2 point Conversion Made: 2 (1 for passing) Points
Easy enough right? So the object is to pick the lineup who is going to dominate over a few games and hopefully win you a decent chunk of change.
This challenge features a 100% payout among several winners, the actual break down will be determined after a final # of entries are counted. Every 5 entries will create another payout spot, so the more people that play, the more people will win!
To enter contact either Jordan Gillis, Ray Thompson, Eric DePue, Jared, Jacobsma and/or Bradley Tyler. All of us will be collecting line ups and entry fees up until game time of the first playoff game.
No limit on entries, with each submission for tie breakers select a winning super bowl team (1st tie breaker) and a total score for the super bowl (2nd tie breaker), if necessary a 3rd tie breaker will be settled by coin flip or old fashion duel.
MODS please don't move this just trying to gauge some last minute interest
