Anyway, I like the move. Especially since it is only costing the Cubs 1.5 mil as opposed to the 10 mil it cost them to get Samardjiza.

I was kinda hoping to see how he graded out at the Combine, but still good for him and the Cubs are VERY high on him.

I agree with James.

I've watched Szczur play both sports for a long time and he is a great, great person too.

But we just don't know how it's going to turn out. I hope he plays well and becomes a player whose baseball card I will be able to collect. After all, I am going to need a new guy once Jeter's playing days are done.
