2011 Topps World Series Relics

Does anyone happen to have a checklist of the 2011 Topps World Series Relic set? I can't seem to find one and saw a couple of the cards on E-Bay and I think they look fantastic. Thanks for any help on this.

Thanks, so it looks like there are 15 cards in the set, all numbered to 100. I've seen these seven so far:

A Bumgarner auto /50 just went up BIN for $200. I don't know how these will sell this year, but that might even be a deal.

If I was a Giants fan I would hit that asap.

The Phillies set from 09 is so rare now, there were a lot of cards I passed up that I wish I hadn't.

These definitely sell well. I sold a Youkilis Jsy from the set when the Red Sox won (not when they won, a few years after) and it sold for 160!

I sold a pack-pulled Ellsbury plain white jersey /100 from '08 Topps for like $56.

I'm hoping one day the Brewers give me a reaosn to pick these up

Any jerseys are likely not real or from the regular season since most postseason jerseys were sold through their mailing list.

I agree some what with this statement, by no means did the Giants sell all of the jerseys through the mailing list. At most they had about 15 per home/road/alt and they still have some available. So there are jerseys/bats out there for Topps and this may be why some of these cards are redemptions.

Anyone have an idea where this "relic" came from on MadBum's card:

Chest 'USA' patch from 2009 Futures Game? Looks like part of the St. Louis Arch in the logo.

Are you sure it was a jersey? I didn't think he had a jersey card in the set. I know he has a bat card...

I just need the Pedro Martinez uniform card to finish the set....

These relics are not from the World Series. The Fontenot relic is a Cubs jersey.

Wow, it might take me longer to try and put this set together than I thought. I mean if someone is willing to pay $75 for a Fontenot Cubs jersey numbered to 100, I'm going to have a hard time competing for most of these.

That's why I told you guys going for the set to grab that bum auto asap.

The Phillies set from a two years ago is forever nestled in permanent collections. People that are going for these are card collectors AND giants collectors; and toughest yet these cards bring out the fans that has no interest in cards otherwise. These people will buy them and keep them and they are gone from circulation forever.

Like I said, I passed on a few Phillies WS and I regret each decision.

Good luck, if anything pops up that is reasonable, grab it.

Just hit a $56 BIN on a Wilson that popped up, seemed reasonable.

Fontenot $75

The crazy thing is that these cards are numbered out of 100, a Lincecum just sold for $200 and a Huff redemption went for $100.....they are plain jersey cards. I would understand $20-30 for lower guys and $50+ for the big names but $80+ for plain jersey cards of guys whose normal cards go for $1-$3 is insane to me. Too bad I keep missing out on the good BIN's. :lol:
