Anyone noticing spikes on a lot of RC Auto's?

Been noticing a ton of spikes recently.

Hanley Chrome Ref. Auto - going for as little as $100 a short while ago. Last 2 got $150 and $163 (other parallels also up.)
Lester Chrome Auto - last auction got $43 and an Orange Ref. sold for $535.
Pujols RC Auto's seem to be up across the board, Crawford TT Auto's are up around $80 (with a BO getting $95.) RC Auto's of guys like Dunn, Michael Young and other seem to be doing really well as well. Is it just baseball season around the corner?

I paid $90 for a refractor and $120 for an xfractor in the offseason so those have jumped a decent amount.

While this is true to some degree, I have been following the card market for years and do not recall ever seeing this many cards jump this much, especially established guys who usually go up more based on performance than speculation. It is also earlier in the year than the jumps have been in the past.

Or people that weren't really into prospecting saw what happened with Heyward, Stras, Posey, Castro etc. and figure it will happen again. But it won't. This does happen every year, just wait till March. So many people sold Heyward for good profit in February last year, what a mistake.
