Come on seriously? This is good news for Yankee fans. Glad Andy decided to call it a career.

It is? He would've been their #2 or 3.

Felix Hernandez

There's a reason why they signed Freddy Garcia and that's to possibly sway Hernandez to NY, remember Freddy is his idol.

If the Yankees couldn't trade Jesus for Cliff Lee, no way will the Yankees have anything to offer for Hernandez.

Pettite is a big loss, however, even with this rotation they will probably get into the playoffs.

If CC stays healthy and AJ pulls his head out of his hole and starts to pitch to his ability.

They still have the bats and the bullpen. It would be nice if they could go out and get a quality starter but it is unlikely to happen. The Red Sox have a lot of questions in their starting rotation as well and they dont have the bull pen that the Yankees have.
