Another Sandoval just sold for $100 BIN...people really don't know what these are worth :?

A bunch of these are ending tonight and tomorrow. I'm still guessing the price will level out a bit on the single relic ones. At least I hope so, crazy to think about paying $100 for a simple jersey swatch of a borderline player of a card numbered to 100.....

Updated again. Five more end tonight and three tomorrow.

Is this topps master set collectors or what? I don't remember the Red Sox versions of these getting close to these prices.

back in 07 I pulled 2 of them from a case and paid for nearly half of the case w/ them. They are hhhhooooot.

I agree the prices are out of whack but they seems to coming down a little as more copies surface. I mean there are 100 (Relic), 50 (Auto) and 50 (Auto/Relic) cards of each of these in the set so once the fever to be the first is over the prices will level off. A couple of Renteria's ended tonight at about half what the first ones went for, so the lesser player will follow soon.

Yes, the GU seem to be cooling off a bit with the autos holding relatively even.

If you are going for the set, buy now. In two or three years when these start popping up they'll be back at right-after-release prices.

I have a 2006 Anthony Reyes, however, I dont even think it is worth anything, even if it is SP/100. lol

They're not from World Series jerseys, and in the case of at least Fontenot & Bumgarner, they're not even from Giants jerseys.
And who the hell knows when the bats are from. Maybe I just don't get it.

To me the appeal is the design, but I'm a Giants fan so almost anything celebrating the series victory is cool to me. But I don't understand the prices, I mean a Fontenot full Cubs jersey would go for less than his card did.

The back of the jersey card in large print reads "You have just received a certified World Series champion memorabilia card from 2011 Topps Baseball series 1."

Underneath that in very fine print, "The relic on this card is not from any specific game, event or season."

They look nice but I wouldn't pay $20+ for these.

Forget the "relics"! The autographs are the ones to buy.

Seems like one bidder is single-handedly pushing the prices up on the base relics, bidder s**s(756) has bids on all of the relics on e-bay, even doubles and leads many of them.

Edit: Looks like they've lost out on almost all of them since release as well.
