Tomorrow at the White House Stan The Man is getting
a medal of honor. Very nice and much deserved.
I hope I can catch a clip online after work

Also guys try to catch it as this may be one of his last
public appearances

I agree a card should be made of this historic honor.
Most of the older HOF'ers are gone he is the last of
a great generation. I wish all current players would be forced
to watch how these guys conducted business with class.
Nowadays its all money and selfishness.

Bumping this to the top because it deserves to be there. In a cynical, greedy, sports world it is nice to be reminded how great our sports heroes used to be. Also, it is the Presidential Medal of Freedom, not the Medal of Honor (huge difference but still very distinguished and well deserved).

Stan the Man most likely won't be around much longer and by all accounts, let me repeat that, ALL ACCOUNTS he is a better person than ballplayer and that is truly saying something.
