It's kind of hard to "read right," so I'm not really sure who is scamming who here. PSA didn't tell the guy that the auto is "likely not genuine," but that it is unauthenticate-able (I'm guessing due to the auto being partially obscured?), so he sent it to Topps. They have apparently said that it may not be the auto they placed in the card, so he is looking for the dude that sold it to him.

I think that's the deal here. The whole things reeks badly.
