Not comparing them, but I was actually really impressed with Five Star. I thought it was a great product :)

A Walter Payton Auto Cut is listed... There are 61 of them.

A Johnny Unitas Auto Cut is also listed - only 40 of them out there...

A little surprised to see that many.

@lisu Five Star looks better from a design standpoint and the on card auto standpoint. Since that is all that really matters to me, I disagree with the above post.

Especially with all the cards that look like this crap:

http://cgi.ebay.com/2010-NATIONAL-TREAS ... 51981f4d16

or this crap:

http://cgi.ebay.com/2010-National-Treas ... 4cf596be00

or this crap:

http://cgi.ebay.com/2010-National-Treas ... 45f926a450

Bottom line is that this prestige type junk doesnt belong in a super high end product, and at least the jersey cards in five star looked good. These look like poop.

What I hate about the Payton Cuts are that they use the worse cut auto possible to make them. Those phone cards are so busy. You can probably get an old UD cut of Payton with the same phone card cut for less than $200.

OK - I haven't had time to look at all the NT cards - but the ones that I like are the patch autos such as the Tom Brady auto patch #/5. Basically - my biggest problem with Topps 5 Star is their checklist. National Treasures has a better checklist but the sticker autos kill me.

hands down the nt RPA'S blow 5 star out the water. patch size matter at $400-$500 per pack. Everything else favors 5 Star really, but the RPA's are what most want to pull. Compare the Tebow for both products. NT>5 Star.

The RPA's are awesome - probably the set that has stood out to me the most.

I would rather spend $500 picking up RPA's with future potential than to spend on a box of either NT or Five Star.
