longo. his ops is great and he has amazing numbers. alexei is playing nicely but his numbers dont compare to longoria.

i went with ramirez. not only cuz he came out of nowhere as a sox stud (for right now at least...), but i believe in affirmative action. :lol:

besides the higher avg, alexei kills him in RBI and HR. (and his .306 avg doesn't make him a slouch)

Pretty sure Ramirez is going against Longoria and not Pedroia from last year for this years ROY.

Jumped out early, made ALL Star, Rays great story, he's likeable/likable
If it turned out to be Alexei he is deserving as well
A lot closer than some may believe
(ie he is a middle infielder, you should haven't same slugging % as a conrer infielder who bats in mddle of lineup.....slugging not everything----P Rose a better player than higher slugging % gorman thomas or steve balboni)
Chciago fans appreciate how HUGE he has been for a team witha bunch of underachievers (3B, Thome, Konerko pre-August, Swisher, etc)
Basically it has been Alexei and Carlos Q from May-July with Dye having hot streaks from time to time
Longori a stud, Alexei a gem for Sox ....happy both guys succeeding
