How is everyone liking the 2011 Topps Series 1 so far? Still a good break at $700+ for hobby case and $800+ for jumbo case?

I think wrapper redemptions and diamond giveaways are still worth around $100 bundled right?

Just from what I broke, I was very happy with the product EXCEPT for 2 things.

Lack of TTM signers in Kimball Minis, and those stupid reprint cards...

Otherwise I really like the set. The problem is I cannot locate the Sy Berger inserts for history of Topps. He is an excellent TTM signer, and it would be awesome to get every one he is on and have him sign them.

I enjoyed the reprint cards -- until i realized how many there are. I get so many I can't help but think I'd rather a base card to complete the set. I've got 1 complete set sorted with enough dupes to make most of a 2nd and 3rd set... all from retail.

I actually opened a 2011 topps opening day blaster today and got 3 blue #'d parallels. I like the look.

Here's my dilemma with 2011 topps series 1 case.

2010 Bowman Chrome and 2010 Topps Chrome cases you usually make back roughly 60%-70% of what you paid for the case including selling or redeeming wrappers.

I don't really see getting back close to 50% of 2011 Topps case in the few breaks witnessed in the box break forum.

I loved it. I only purchased one regular hobby box as this year I want to start doing each Topps base set and that will be my modern fix. Out of the box, I got a Chapman sparkle, Lester black border, and a Jaime Garcia silk card. I was 52 cards shy of the base set but the LCS had busted a jumbo box and I picked up the 52 I needed for the set. I sold the three cards listed above and with that money, purchased a 1952 Topps Duke Snider. I completed the series one set and got a vintage HOF card from a classic set. Nothing but satisfied here.
