New Collecting Project... (Update 4/23/11, 9 New, 51/118)

After seeing some other people collecting tickets, I have decided to embark on a new collection and try to get a ticket from each of Zambrano's 116 wins. I really have no clue where to start. I went on ebay and grabbed the 5 that were on there, so I am now up to 6. I might try to get in touch with some season ticket holders. Does anyone know of any good sites to find tickets? Feel free to post any of your ticket collections as well. I need inspiration! :lol:

I don't have them scanned, but I'm at 46 tickets and counting - games where Sandberg hit a homer. I'm picky about what tickets/stubs I pick up - no ticket master type tickets.

I do have this one not on my list because I need to upgrade it. It's the stub in worst shape, but it's also my favorite one right now. All Cubs fans, especially Sandberg fans, should know this game.

Awesome idea. Im sure this is going to be a long project. Bobotai im a huge Cubs fan but was only 4 in 84. What happened in that game?

That's the "Sandberg Game." Ryno hit two game tying home runs off of Hall of Fame closer Bruce Sutter (one in the 9th and one in the 10th) on the NBC Game of the Week. Cubs went on to win the game.

New Collecting Project... (Update 3/19/11, 23 New)

I have been to a few games that Z started. If I ever come across them they are yours if you need them.

Here are the tickets in my collection. They are to the longest game in pro baseball history. The first ticket was for innings 1-32 with the second ticket for the 33rd inning. A cool story behind how I got them. The only other full set I know of is in Cooperstown:
