What does EXT mean on the Allen & Ginter minis?

I'm looking in a beckett and I see EXT next to the mini cards for 2010 A&G's. What does that mean? It's probably an obvious answer but I dont see anything in the legend and cant figure out what EXT would stand for that would make them worth so much more.

Extended Series. Mini's only found in rip cards.
