As long as the World's greatest Longoria collection, hands down, continues to grow, the sky's the limit for what you can sell him for, hands down.

I'm a huge fan of his, and he will probably jump a significant amount when his contract with the rays is finished sometime around 2013. I'm a buyer of his stuff, but I have no chance at catching up with the super Longoria collector on this site.

Does anyone know how his current contract is structured?
When i met him at Rays fest, my mom said jokingly I'll see you in pinstripes in a few years" and he said "Don't count on it" so hopefully hes not a bullsheefer.

This was widely discussed at the time of the signing as one of the worst player-signed contracts in recent times.

Time has not made it look any better.

Rookie third baseman Evan Longoria and the Tampa Bay Rays agreed Friday to a $17.5 million, six-year contract, a deal that could be worth up to $44.5 million over nine seasons. This is from April 2008.

so possibly after the 15 or 16 season, the rays could decline option and he could walk.

so at that point hell be 30 or 31, in the prime, i could see him being the replacement for Arod at 3rd. Depending the status of the Rays at that point. I could see a 5-6 year deal for over 100 million at that point.

I don't know why he would sign a contract like that.

Does anyone have an idea of how much a Arod Game Used Rangers Batting Helmet goes for?

I would assume it is not anywhere near a NY GU Helmet.

I think i will a have similar situation with this in the event he did go to the Yankees down the road...
