Matt Moore appears to be the opening day starter for the Rays AA affiliate. I'm glad to see that he will be here in Montgomery, as now I have a great opportunity to get some IP autos. I'll post scans of the ones I can find. If anyone has any of his cards that you would like to get rid of I would love to pick some up before his start on the 7th. full story here:

I wonder which piece of news struck more of an emotional chord with him - being called up last year, or being informed he's starting this year back at Durham.

Well he definitely needs to find his bat soon, or he will be stuck at AAA Durham for a while. He seems to have fallen off the rails, as far as hitting is concerned. If he doesn't show at minimum .275 at AAA I don't see him moving back up, unless there are injuries. He is now in the unenviable position of having to prove that it wasn't premature to bring him up last season. I wish him all the luck.

I'm probably one of the biggest Rays fans on these boards, but you're going to catch some flack for making multiple threads about players throughout their system. You should consider consolidating it all into one thread.

Do you have any other news about a Rays prospect you wanna post about? Just make 1 post and include all the news in that thread... do we need 3 threads about 3 different prospects that wont be making the team right away.... Im sure most knew those players werent going to be in MLB now anyway.
