Trying to figure out how to tell the difference from these 2 cards.

1995 Topps Pre-Production
1995 Topps Pre-Production Spectralite

Thanks for any help you can provide.

cant help with scans but basically the spectralite version is the same as the regular set parallel, the cyberstats, where the background is blurred and foiled. i remember getting a box of 1994 bakers dozen complete set (with the much sought after 3 card super star sampler cards). the box also has one complete set of 9 or 10 1995 preproductions cards BUT one was the foil spectralite version. i pulled a travis fryman but the griffey is the key card.

Do you need the spectralite version?

Need both versions. That's why I was asking how to tell them apart. I have my eye on 2 different auctions and was wondering if they were both the same or not. Why, you got one?

n1astrosfn: Thanks for the info.

I pulled the Greg Vaughn Spectralight from my 1994 set.

I will scan tonight and post it!

The spectralight has a foil background.
