Mine was a 1999 Topps Traded Josh Girdley.

I'm sure that I made a boat load on eBay when I sold it!

Probably a ToppsTV auto from a random pack of Finest

My first REAL one I have to say was a Dallas Braden UD Future Stars auto. Probably could have moved it for something after his perfect game but I decided to hold it for the oddity of it.

I am not counting hobby boxes that I broke or something where i was guaranteed an auto

I'm pretty sure mine was from 1999 UD Retro (the box of cards that came in a tin lunchbox)... To lazy to look it up to make sure I'm right. But I do remember for sure it was Jose Cruz Jr.

As far as baseball goes, I honestly don't remember my first autograph from a pack. It was probably something from '96 Best.

I'm not 100% certain, but it might have been this:

2000 (or 2001?) Fleer Authentics Justin Miller autograph (Oakland Athletics)

And I think I still have the card.

For me, it was a 1992 Classic Best Ken Griffey Jr. Auto/3100

1:7000 packs for one of the 3 autographs in the series. I was able to hit it in the first pack I ever opened of this product, way back in '93 when I was 13. By today's standard that was almost the equivalent of a Jordan Logoman pull. Back then the only certified autographs out there were from the Classic 4-sports and most were no-namers.
