Eric Chavez Mailweek: 9 Autos 10 GU 4 Rare Inserts!

A lot of additions this week. The Ultimates and Absolutes came from another Chavez collector. These were the last few that he had that I didn't have copies of. I am most excited about the Tek Golds. It had been months since I added 1 and within a week 2 surface. Overall I am very happy. A couple of the Ultimates have nice looking patches and the Absolutes are always a crowd pleaser. I have a couple nice items coming in next week but I don't think I will have a mailweek this large ever again. The countdown to 75% total production has begun. I am officially 100 cards away! (assuming no cards added in the next year that it will take me to find 100 that I need).

VizquelCollector: Thanks, I purchased them in a large lot and just allocated the whole amount between the cards. Overall the prices are about what the going rate would actually be minus overpaying for the Teks in order to get the sellers to end the auctions early to avoid the "just in case" bidder.

schillingfan: Thank you, I saw the Jersey and Hat pickups you had. Very nice!

I was never a fan of the Ultimates so I had very few of these but when you can get them all at once it really makes the set start to take form. Now I just need to find the 5-6 cards to complete the print runs. You also will have a PM shortly.

Pastretta: Thank you, the Wright is my favorite. Ultimate is the only pairing with Wright so its nice to have some diversity in my collection.

James52411: Thanks, it is very rare that I am able to add this many cards in one week. Based off of very rough math I have 95% (1444/1518) of the cards numbered to 11 and higher. The majority of cards I need are 1/1's and they simply don't get listed that often and even when they do I am not a fan of printing plates so I sometimes just let them pass by.

Mozzie22: I have a site. I don't know it I would call it a nice site since there are definitely some nicer sites by collectors dedicated to their collections but with my level of computer knowledge and patience its as good as it's going to get right now.

Eric Chavez Collection

nevermore: I am as well. Its kind of funny. My first "player collection" was Jeter when I was a huge Yankees fan but his stuff was out of my price range and I knew I could never build a substantial collection of his. So I switched players and switched teams and now I'm back to the Yankees. I can't imagine him having any premier type cards and Yankees patches are usually on the less exciting side but maybe he can get some pairings with players I don't already have in my collection.
