Just noticed the Harper Prospect Auto is not numbered this year, much like the Strasburg last year.

Seeing how the Harper auto is in retail, unlike the Strasburg last year, I'm guessing Topps increased his print run.

Anndddddddd see-through wrappers again. So, once again, every pack at my local retail stores will be searched and completely damaged. Thanks, Topps.

I believe this is a rack-pack too.

This is definitely a rack pack (value pack). Does anyone have odds for the retail packs? Blaster boxes?

Holy crap, those are bad odds.

Did they turn the press run up 5-6 fold?

We wont know until the Jumbo odds come out to see if production was increased,

A little confusing though as a Brycer Harper auto is just as likely as an orange refractor

My guess is the Hobby odds will be much more favorable for the Harper autos.

It looks like the mad rush to buy up all the rack packs may have been in haste. You just can't expect or trust that Topps is going to keep the odds the same from year to year. There are too many variables for them to factor in.

sounds like a profit taking year.... crank up the presses and sell off on the remaining hype leftover from Strasburg.... having Harper makes it even easier to do. There's the potential for Topps to make 5x net profit on this product compared to last year with the Harper hype.

2010 Blaster Odds
GROUP A 1:88
GROUP B 1:3,200
Refractor 1:32
Purple Refractor 1:8
Blue Refractor 1:121
Gold Refractor 1:630
Orange Refractor 1:1282

2011 Blaster Odds
Auto: 1:42
Bryce Harper base auto 1:2,900
Bryce Harper blue auto 1:19,500
Refractor 1:134
Purple Refractor 1:26
Blue Refractor 1:420
Gold Refractor 1:2,200
Orange Refractor 1:4,400

Print run for purples are /700. Purple refractors are now 3 times tougher to pull for blasters, the same for rack packs. Rack packs, other than purple refractors are now 5 times tougher to pull the average parallel.

Looking like retail odds across the board are just horrible.
