You did fine. I made a trade like that dumping my junk to get a Verlander Die-Cut a couple weeks back. Its a good way to dump the junk.

I guess I was just kind of shocked that someone actually took the deal and it made me think if I gave something up that was valuable.

Well, the 45 Codes you entered could have sold for $150+ on ebay, and the last McCutchen sold for $15.50 shipped, I'd say you would have been better off selling the codes and buying a McCutchen.

Touche. In fairness though, people don't go to casinos to lose money.

Right they go for the thrill of hitting the jackpot. Hence I like entering the codes for the thrill of hitting a Mantle or an awesome Diamond Card.

I miss read vmnuts post. Thought he said the cards you traded were worth 150 dollars, which I though was strange but I haven't exactly followed the whole Topps Diamond Giveaway thing. Anyways, knowing this it looks like you did good.

You did well. And to those giving you crap, I'm sure you unlocked at least 1 factory set which is a $40-50 value plus I'm guessing you might have hit another die cut or 2. Plus it's kinda fun even though you normally don't hit anything all that great. Oh, and I go to the casino to have a good time -- if you are going with the sole goal of winning money you will be disappointed about 90% of the time.

Just got this:

2011-BB-DDC-DDC-114-NA_F_285x412.jpg

And gave up:

1973 MVP Card 1975
Reggie Jackson / Oakland Athletics
Pete Rose / Cincinnati Reds

Bill Parson 1975

Charlie Moore 1978

Manny Mota 1978

Jesus Alou 1979

Dave Lemanczyk 1979

Mike Schmidt 1980

Rawly Eastwick 1980

Dave Tobik 1982

Lou Piniella 1984

Bill Campbell 1987

Jose Rijo 1988

Tommy John 1989

Ken Griffey, Jr. 1991

Eddie Pierce 1993

Todd Zeile 1996

Dmitri Young 2005

I'm starting to feel bad that I am getting these Diamond Die-Cuts and am giving away these crappy commons. This trade only lasted like three minutes to boot!
