With Posada struggling how long before they call him up?

Posada is a DH. With Martin behind the plate, why would they call up Montero? Do you really think they are going to call up a minor leaguer just to DH?

sure. If it helps the team... I mean it seems like he wont be the catcher of the future and with Tex locked up at first... where else would he go?

It is not so far fetched. He could also catch some games to give Martin a day off and get some pop in the line-up

Jesus is big trade chip Yanks have to land a pitcher come July. When some teams fall out and become sellers Jesus will get his chance on another team.

Although he won't likely be traded for a reliever (as the title of this thread may imply??) I'd imagine he'd be traded for a starting pitcher.

If he can hit. 300 with power and help the team win? Yes.

Also remember the Yanks have no limit to their resources so no worries with service time.
