I have to say it's crazy how volatile these lists are. Some of these guys have been from one end of the list to the other...

Interesting note - in Callis' first Mock, he chose Cole as #1. In his second, he chose Rendon. Now he's going Hultzen.

Pittsburgh must be extremely indecisive, unless they're giving him the runaround.

Yikes... Lindor now at 17 :? Is Callis hearing something about him that is scaring some teams?

This is the BIGGEST guessing game there is. The baseball draft is the most volatile in all of major sports.

When I was with the Angels, we were picking 12th. We went to be the night before the draft with ZERO chance at the "prizes of the draft, Verlander, Drew, and Weaver". Weaver was a lock to go either 1st or 2nd. Phil Hughes was the likely pick for the Angels. We wake up, and all of sudden things have changed. The Padres are planning on taking Matt Bush and there was a legitimate chance that Weaver gets to us at #12. The owner is in the draft room giving the thumbs up to spend the cash to get him.

Point being, no one knows, no one ever knows. Even the teams don't freaking know. Bottom line.

Rumors are going around that Lindor is falling out of the top 15 because of a ridiculous asking price that just came out.

I just don't think there is a clear cut number one. If the Royals do take Cole, the rich get richer here. That'd be exactly what they need a top-end of the rotation pitcher that isn't that far away from the big leagues.

Two players considered Top 10 talent said they had no interest in moving to a different position. One of them was Rendon. Its basically the same scenerio on how the Brewers picked Braun over Tulo in 2005.
