Instead of adding to the 50-page thread, I figured I'd start a new one for notable draft picks who have signed with their teams (no worries, I promise I won't post them all, just the bigger names).

The first signing of the year goes to Toronto.

Matt Eddy -

eddymk According to info relayed by MLB, the first ’11 draft pick to sign is Blue Jays supp 1st rd (46th) Joe Musgrove, prep righty from Calif.

Only 1,529 to go.

I used to catch bullpens for him a couple years back when I was coming up through varsity. It was printed today in our local paper, Newsday.

I THINK, now I could be wrong, but I THINK... AJ Pettersen signed with the Twins. If anyone knows for sure, that would be awesome.

Pettersen was drafted by the Twins with the 27th pick in the 25th round (778th overall) of the Major League Baseball Draft on Tuesday afternoon. Details of the contract, or when he'll report, were not available.

Ahh. Someone told me something and I guess I was wrong.

The Twins are going to wait to sign a lot of their draft picks until they see them play in summer collegiate leagues.
