***THIS CONTEST HAS BEEN CANCELLED. MY APOLOGIES TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED. HOWEVER, THE PRIZE WILL STILL BE AVAILABLE FOR A FUTURE CONTEST. STAY TUNED.

36 folks turned out to take a shot at winning the JSA Certified "Power Pitcher" ball (Koufax, Ryan, Feller, Johnson, Carlton, Schilling, Blue, Lolich, Richard, McDowell, Wood).

As mentioned, the last 8 contestants who signed up must start off in the "play-in" bracket for the right to enter the main 32 contestant bracket.

The category for the "play-in" round will be RBIs. The highest combined career total will advance.

NOTE: In an effort to move things along, each hand will feature 6 player images instead of 12. Each screen shot will feature 2 rows of 6 images. The contestant listed at the top of each pairing will have the top row of images, while the bottom contestant will have the bottom row.

Thanks!

You would count the total number of hits the pitcher had as a batter. Good question.

Sorry it didn't go your way! So far, 11 out of 12 winners came from the top row. So goes the randomness of the deal.

I'll be curious to see if the trend continues with the pitching categories.
