Staten island Yankees vs. Brooklyn cyclones. No big deal until I'm listening to the radio (WFAN) and cashman says Phil Hughes is gonna be starting for the Staten Island Yankees this Sunday. I almost fell out of my chair considering this is by pure coincidence. Now for my question, do rehabing stars sign during their stays with said rehab club?

If a pitcher is starting he will normally not sign.

I have a feeling that he would sign after his start. Probably not before, but I know that when Pettitte made a rehab start in trenton he signed after his start. And it might help that the crowd may be small, so he wont feel overwhelmed signing

yeah i dont know if he wins it would def help my case. but saying that, javier rodriguez is on the cyclones this year!

bring some stuff for other guys and focus on them before the game. That way, you won't walk empty handed afterwords.
