Certainly the most exciting matchup for me to follow. I'd love to see a 10 inning 1-0 game.

You do realize both guys probably won't go past 6 or 7 innings each, right?

10 innings each, Parker wins 1-0. Both throw 120 pitches and both strikeout 14.

Quit teasing me

Unfortunately, though, Parker is on a 75 pitch pitch-count, if I recall correctly.

If you're feeling that lucky I would make my way down to the local mini-mart and buy a lottery ticket or two. Because the chances of that happening are comparable.

My boy all the hype realizes there is virtually no chance of 2 guys throwing 120 pitches in a minor league game. Definitely sarcasm.

Posting from the Chiefs/Knights game. Peavy is pitching on rehab, already saw him two weeks ago at Fenway, weird luck I guess.

So far he's 2 for 2 with that HR and a 2B.
But what was more interesting was his defensive line. He gave up one steal, caught one, and picked off one. But they were all Profar. On sequential plays. WHAT?

Check it:
• Jonathan Roof lines out to right fielder Kelvin De Leon.
• Jurickson Profar reaches on throwing error by third baseman Rob Segedin. Jurickson Profar to 2nd.
• With Odubel Herrera batting, Jurickson Profar steals (6) 3rd base.
• Odubel Herrera strikes out swinging. Jurickson Profar scores. Jurickson Profar picked off and caught stealing home. Throwing error by third baseman Rob Segedin.

So that's two throwing errors by Segedin followed by a mess that results in a score?

Yeah, I think it means he was picked off, caught in a pickle, and scored on a throwing error by the 3B (maybe it hit Profar coming down the line, thats a possibility, or he could have airmailed it).

And it has taken Jarrod Parker 65 pitches to get through 3 innings. Not too great, to go along with 5 walks.

But, coming off the TJ the command is usually the last thing to come back from what I've read.

Pomeranz is a beast. Not sure why he's only in low A.

I'd like to see him and Harvey promoted soon.
