Brian Gordon is the first ever MLBer to use a 100% synthetic, leather-free, glove. I didn't know such a thing even existed. Below is a close up of the glove.

As long as there are hamburgers, I think it's irresponsible not to make leather products. That said, whatever his reasoning, more power to him.
