I had NO idea this card ever existed. Does anyone have a full checklist of the dual spokespersons autographs?
Does anyone own any examples from this set? Please don't tell me there is a Tiger Woods dual autograph in this set as well- i've never heard of it.

This may be the ONLY "on-card" autograph card that has ever existed with these two hobby legends - pretty jaw-dropping when I saw it. At the current price, it's no longer a secret.

May the biggest wallet win- my money is on a Griffey guy who is also a Jordan fan, cause this is a card from a baseball card set.

Would of been cooler with Grif in a White Sox uniform, also you have to wonder if the ink on that card will fade
like many of the SS autographs.

I would rather just have a nice MJ autograph, adding Griffey to it does nothing for me.

Do you follow 90's MJ inserts at all?

MJ outsells Griffey and it's not even close.

A typical 1:72 pack odds MJ insert will sell for $75. Griffey, $8-$15

1:144, MJ $175; Griff, $25

1:288-1:360, MJ $300-$450; Griff, maybe $50-$60

Thanks! Are the duals all 1/1's? I know the single sigs were multiple copies, I believe 20 or so.

Good point about the fading, probably not a great card long-term.

Jordan collectors have bigger wallets than just about anyone in this hobby.

agreed.

the lowest end Jordan autographs (UD) are still over $300. You can get a low end Griffey auto for $40-$50.

Yah, but do Jordan collectors actually want this card?

If it goes for over three grand, I say yes.

I'd be thrilled if I pulled this, but I'd sell it in a heartbeat to buy some Griffey autos and even a Jordan for my PC. I like the idea of the dual sigs like these but unless the player has a very short sig they look cramped. If it sells for 3k, I'd much rather have a Griffey 01 Sweet Spot auto with $2850 or so left over.

Now, its the Jordan collectors.

In the late 90's there were a few Griffey collectors that were nuts.(although the Jordan collectors were always nuts)

One was in Brooklyn, Ylaf. A numbered Griffey Auto Jersey would get up to a few grand.

Jordan collectors are worldwide. Not to say Griffey doesn't have collectors in other countries but the numbers aren't even close. Just the buyers in Asia alone drive prices up.

Dittto. an MJ serial numbered to 50 card from the late 90's goes for 6k. the same Griffey would bring 100 bucks, maybe.

Jordan means much more to basketball than Griffey to baseball; further high-end modern basketball cards easily outsell high-end modern baseball cards.

I think it was already granted that Jordan collectors have deeper pockets, but my question was, do Jordan collectors actually want this one? He's in a baseball uni, and most high end Jordan guys that I know (incl. myself) really don't have any interest in his baseball issues.

People buy cards of minor league players in major league unis, would this be any different?
