How do you make a glossy card more Sharpie friendly?

I have found that taking an eraser over it a couple of times will do the trick.

Switch from a sharpie to a Staedler. You can write directly on a chrome or glossy card. Are available at Staples and art stores

I just got a extra fine point sharpie.
Tyler Sash stopped to pick up a card for his mom that I bought and I had him sign 3 of his prestige rookie cards.
