Would you have a problem with this mascot ?

Well, that didn't last long: the Amarillo Sox (independent; American Association) yanked their new, energetic mascot after complaints from fans regarding his, um, excited nature.

The mascot was unveiled during last Friday's game, but it didn't end up quite the way GM Mark Lee anticipated.

A new mascot is expected to be unveiled this weekend. Then again, the Sox may have missed out on a wonderful opportunity to sell a sponsorship to ****** or Cialis.

That is a Major Fail for the costume designer. Holy cow how inappropriate can a mascot be. Freaking HILARIOUS!!!!!! ROFLMAO

I personified a mascot years ago, a cool and good looking one. I would have never agreed to wear...this. Wow, that's a shame. ::facepalm::

I've long considered that to be a fantastically bad logo. I reference it every time a discussion on bad logos comes up in passing at work. I design displays, so it's not as infrequent as you think... :lol:

I really do think it's a subliminal design. The colors, and the logo were designed by a middle aged woman. She might not have intentionally done it, but it's got Freudian tendencies all over it. Literally no one likes it here. What guys team has pinkish red, and purple ***** shaped logo? I don't see it lasting very long.

The only thing they have going for them as a team is a crazy nice stadium.

I wouldn't have a problem with it. Kids would just see it as a sock. People who saw it as a smiling bob type with a raging boner are old enough to handle it.
