I just randomly saw this. I figured with all of the "recent" threads about people stealing baseballs from children and whatnot, here is one of a grown woman stealing a bat from an elderly couple (didn't happen to long ago either):

I was at Bat Day at Yankee Stadium sometime in the 80's when after the game I saw a guy take his bat, club another guy and then take his bat. That's one of the reasons they don't give full size bats out anymore.

Is this becoming more frequently or it's because media is giving attention to it? But there seems to be a lot of videos of situations like this coming out recently. Shame

I think it's just being caught on camera more often. It probably happens a lot.
