This weekly hot list is for those who want to see and/or discuss which MLB players did the best within the last 7 days. I'll post it on Mondays and use stats from Mondays to Sundays. Feel free to bring up any player or players you believe should be top-10 or honorable mentions. In keeping with the Major League theme of the Hot List, the post-2005 rookie cards I post are a player's best "official" MLB RC, not his best prospect card.

I believe he was trying to say that Pedrois extending his hit streak over the last week should have warrented a actual top 10 mention, and not that he simply did not see the "other (please explain)" option...

This is a weekly/7-day hot list and 20-game hit streaks are a dime a dozen. Talk to me when he gets closer to 30 and he might get a mention. You can't appease everyone with 15 players, thus asking people for "write-ins".

P.S. Pedroia was #2 just last week, so it's not as though what he's doing is being ignored.

It's 21 games so I thought he deseved mention. He is hitting tremendously through the streak, only 2 1 for 5 nights i saw.
