Evan Tanner was found dead at age 37, in the Southern California Desert.

This is truly a shock. He was just a honest, awesome person in the world of MMA. He wore his heart of gold on his sleeve and truly loved everything about the sport.

Rest in peace.

That is just nuts. Real tragedy.
Evan was a true one of a kind. Any true MMA followers will know he had a heart of a lion. You'll be missed Evan.

He was a fighter that remained grounded until the end and enjoyed great success. Really liked watching him compete. RIP Evan.

My Wife told me about this tonight and I still can't believe it. Evan was a true warrior, and the entire MMA community will undoubtedly feel this loss. A sad day, indeed.
