This is just a pipedream, the just resigned Holmes and can't afford to keep Braylon because of it. There is no way they can afford the gem of this years FA market.

He said he would take way less to play with the Jets. They have room for one more big add

In fact Lombardi said about 20 minutes ago it is down to the Jets and NINERS(knock knock Nate you there)

We definitely need some good news. Frank Gore holding out, Lost center and starting LB. Need it.

No kidding. Murderous first couple days of NFL offseason action for the 49ers.

Adam Schefter - Jets are more than $10 million UNDER salary cap, according to two NFL capologists. Might make the Jets the favorite to land Nnamdi Asomugha.

@AdamSchefter or once the 49ers restructure or let Nate go that will put them about 15 mil under cap. More money 2 throw at Nnamdi than Jets

It will probably come down to what he wants, more money (49ers) or a better chance of going to a Super Bowl (Jets).

The 49ers release of cornerback Nate Clements clears $15.7 million of cap room. That should put them in the Nnamdi hunt PLEASE!

Filed to NFLN: Per a league source, the Jets, for now, are out of the Nnamdi Asomugha sweepstakes.

Adam Schefter
How's this for a turn on Nnamdi Asomugha sweepstakes. Jets are out. Nnamdi's about ready to make up his mind.
