$20-30 is insane for "lottery" player autos, possibly not #'d or limited, no parallels, and a weak overall team compared to past summers.

Exactly, you are 100% right on here. Card collecting/investing is on par with gambling. People love the chase and would rather fork over coin for the unknown and HOPE they get something good. I laugh at it.
