Albeit uncalled for, a rash of people have taken to the Twittersphere to bash Matt LaPorta and his recent play. Matt, probably trying to take it with a grain of salt, starts to retweet all of the haterade that has been pouring in and it causes even more people to chime in with their displeasure.

How do you think Harper will handle it if he starts his career out slow. Even more hype then LaPorta

Hype can do alot mentally to players, and I'm sure the fans were expecting the new messiah as every made LaPorta out to be. Strasburg kind of was living up to his hype until he blew out his elbow. Harper seems like a DB to me, but he looks to be more composed and ready to deal with whatever is sent his way even at his young age. I guess its just a matter of not letting it go to your head. But I bet its hard if you're hearing it all the time every day

He cant hit a breaking ball or inside fastball to save his life! With that said if he continues to struggle the rest of the year.I would look to trade him in the off season!

Pretty sure that all 3 are not "easy" IP autographs to get.

With that said, I have only seen one of the 3-LaPorta-and he was very nice, just personalized stuff. Never had an issue with him. One thing I will never get is people wishing bad on someone because they don't sign an autograph for you. That = fail.
