Scioscia recently said in an interview that Mike Trout needs to be playing everyday but fails to realize that he is the King Of The Platoon managers. Terrible situation Mr Trout is in with getting on the job training in the middle of a playoff race with teammates that think they should be starting everyday.

It's already been said they're going to make a decision by the end of the road trip. He's loving it up in the majors, and he is actually gaining experience just by being around the other players and seeing what the MLB life requires. If they send him back down, it'll be back to AA for the remainder of the year + playoffs, then right back to Anaheim.

Good they gave him a look so early, but.... The kid needs to hit to play... 7 hits in 14 games doesnt cut it so far....

send him back down is best IMO, next time up he will have more of a clue what needs to be done to succeed
ie cut down on the whiffs and more walks
