the Cardinals sure play a cheap/dirty brand of baseball.
Pujols was hit in the hand on a wild pitch by Saito. Absolutely no intent at all. Braun then leads off the next inning, and Motte clearly tries to hit him, but he misses. The very next pitch he goes high and tight and drills him in the upper back. ::facepalm::
It is one thing to hit a guy to "protect your star player", but to blatantly throw at a guy two times in a row is pretty lame. Not to mention stupid because Braun was the lead-off batter and it is a tie game in the bottom of the 7th.
