Dan Uggla on Fire

This guy had caught a ton of criticism earlier in the season and rightfully so, but right now he is killing it.

Currently has a 25 game hitting streak. Batting .333 with 11 Homers over that period of time. He has raised his awful batting average almost 30 points.

Really coming through with McCann and Chipper on the DL and Prado and Heyward struggling.

I'm glad to see his confidence and timing are back! I've stood behind Dan the whole season and I knew he would come out of it.

I'm glad he's doing better with the bat. Any word of why he was sooo miserable earlier in the year?

He was swinging at everything. Pitchers were getting him with the low and outside breaking ball every time. He's become more patient and laying off the outside off-speed stuff and is jumping all over pitches thrown middle-in.
