So I got a Freddie Freeman 2011 Bowman Redemption auto card that I just redeemed a couple weeks ago. Cool.
But then I realized that I had two Topps Tribute 2011 Freeman Redemptions that were put in back in May. So I decided this morning I would try my hand and call Topps and see why I didn't get those as in the queue they were set to ship this week.
Dialing - Ring Ring
Topps "Customer Service" Representative - What you need? (word for word how he answered the phone)
Me: Hi, this is so and so. can you tell me if my Freddie Freeman cards are set to ship this week.
Topps Rep: No, he hasn't signed them yet.
Me: Well he signed the other card that I just got.
Topps Rep: Well we have to get on his schedule
Me: Apparently you got on his schedule already.
Topps Rep: We can send you a card of equal or lesser value
Me: I'll take some Bowman Freddie Freeman auto cards if that's cool.
Topps Rep: You can't request specific players, just equal value.
Me: Well it's what I bought.
Topps: He hasn't signed them yet.
Me: Okie dokie, I'll just wait. Wait to get screwed
