Only players to have 80+ in a decade - Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, Tris Speaker, Babe Ruth, Rogers Hornsby, Jimmie Foxx, Lou Gehrig, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Barry Bonds

Only players to show-up in two decades - Tris Speaker, Stan Musial, Willie Mays, Mike Schmidt, Barry Bonds, Randy Johnson

Nettles is pretty interesting. Taking a look at his career - stats and awards - seems like a humdrum career. It appears he was in his prime just at the right time.

Baseball really is a "decade-centric" sport. You can clearly see the direct correlation between some of the best selling and most popular players of all-time being the best during certain decades (with Morgan being an exception in a weak decade). Wagner, Cobb, Ruth, Williams, Mantle, Mays, Henderson, Griffey Jr. (due to Bonds' fall from grace), Pujols (due to Rodriguez' fall from grace), these are some of the most popular and best sellers of all-time and all "led" a decade. I don't think it is a coincidence.

YAY! Bagwell made a list! I'm personally hoping they do a Killer B's entry to the hall by entering both Bagwell and Biggio when Biggio is eligible in 2 years...
