1of1's I pulled.

I just added some new scans to my collection of 1 of 1's that I have pulled over the years. I never sell or trade them so please don't ask.

First one I pulled when I got back into collecting. I purchased a bunch of different packs at the shop to see what was out there. I hadn't bought any packs since 1999. In the one pack of SP was this. Johan Santana 2004 SP.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Skrip I think these cards are a testament that I used to break too much wax. It is interesting that I had a good string of years going except 2008 and 2009 where I pretty much quit busting wax.

Lance I have thought about it, but the the collection would be ruined.

KC that is the risk I take some of them have gone up and down in price. I am glad I saved you some money.

jeter is deff a cornerstone piece, the rest are meh in comparison.
might be the only single jersey card with a chance of breaking
300+ today

I have never pulled a 1/1 although admittedly I havent opened a ton of boxes!

Closest I have come were 2 x 2005 BC Reds /5.

Although 1 was a Balentien Auto which sold for more than a lot of 1/1's would go for.

my closest hobby store is 70 miles away in cape girardeau, mo.
every year i drive up there the week b4 xmas and treat myself to a couple boxes. 09 i bought a box of 09 topps 206 and pulled a felix hernandez carolina brights mini. i just sold on ebay the other day as a 24.99 BIN with free shipping, it went in under 30 mins i think, shoulda put 50 on it lol
i believe the buyer is a member here as well.

If you had listed it for $100 it probably would have still gotten hit that fast.

The Carolina brights sell very well.
