So thepostgame.com has run a story about the Top 10 worst Celebrity Tippers that follows:

Tiger Woods at #1, Madonna at #2, Streisand at #3, LeBron at #4, Jeremy Piven #5, etc.

While I don't know about #s 2-5 on that list I do have a story about Mr. Tiger Woods from one of his visits to the Renaissance Vinoy Hotel in St. Petersburg, FL. Some of you may know this hotel, Five-Star, 1st Class amenities, stones throw away from Downtown St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, etc. Well Tiger likes to gamble and when he wants to play at the HardRock in Tampa, this is his hotel of choice. I have a friend who works valet for this hotel and he told me a story about Tiger about a month ago, although I think this incident happened a few years ago. Tiger asked him to take and get his car detailed (Rolls Royce, I believe) while he did whatever celebrities do. After giving Mr. Woods his keys back Tiger gives him $2, yep Mr. I'm worth $500-million tips a valet $2 for taking his car to get detailed offsite. Maybe he figured letting the valet drive a Rolls Royce was cool enough, but I can't speak for him. Anyways, this same valet also told me a story about the opposite end of the spectrum about Mr. Tony Dungy. Mr. Dungy only asked that my friend carry his bag from the front desk to his car (waiting outside at the valet pickup, less than 200 ft. away) and gave him a $50 bill. I have never personally met Tiger Woods or Tony Dungy, but I can guarantee that Tony Dungy has more class in his left pinky toe than Tiger Woods will ever have in his lifetime. Karma is a ****** Tiger. Enjoy the spiral down.

We get a fair share of athletes/celebs and most are the usual 20-30% tippers.

LeSean Mccoy was in last winter with a party of 6 and left 0 tip (paid all cash, down to the dollar)

Elton Brand was with his wife/fiance and tipped 200%, I don't work in that one ever but the staff all said he was total class.

I waited on Cuba Gooding Jr. a loooong time ago and he gave me $300 :)

Not surprised. Woods seems like the guy to do that, while Dungy seems like the exact opposite.

Terrance: You must meet a lot of interesting people at the restaurant you work at..

He 'showed you the money!' Had to drop that Maguire reference in there somewhere. Thanks for sharing. This hotel is also where all the visiting MLB teams stay when playing the Rays, except the Red Sox who have changed hotels (to The Don Cesar Beach Resort) because they were getting a lot of distractions from their fans while staying at The Vinoy.

Develop that story a little bit and Deadspin would probably pay you a couple bucks for the piece.

More than Tiger left my buddy probably.......the irony.

 Why does Tiger even have dollar bills in his wallet?

I'm actually in the camp that celebs shouldn't be held to a higher tipping standard, but $2 for having the car detailed and brought to him is so cheap.

That should be a $20 even for Joe Schmo.

I work at a jet center here in Sarasota and get alot of athletes and celebs in and out. The worst tippers are athletes! I've had Arod, Glavine, Roger Goodell, Ron Howard, Elton john etc come through and had there cars cleaned loaded the luggage in them, rolled out a carpet for them for when they come off the plane and not gotten a brown penny from any of them! Bill Cosby was the worst. He was actually mad that a black person didn't handle any of his stuff and went so far as to ask where was the black guy at to help him out. I get CEOs of companies and regular joes that come off planes though and all I do is throw there luggage in there limo waiting for them and they give anywhere from 50$-100$ tip

Tiger has been reported to be VERY cheap, but $2 for that is kinda ridiculous, and that's from a guy who's pretty tight with the tipping myself...

Best? Worst? Huh?

The thing about the Tiger story that rings a little false is the $2. Not that it's a tiny tip, but that he'd actually have 2 singles on him, and would go to the trouble to unroll them or whatever. If he tossed your friend a $5 casino chip or something, that would be the same level of cheapitude and be a little more believable. Not tipping at all would be as well.

That Bill Cosby story is hilarious. He actually wanted a black man to be his porter?

Two $1 bills. Hey even athletes get thirsty/hungry, never know when you might need to hit the beverage/snack machine or something. And if he's cheap enough to leave $2 for car detailing, he probably received them as change for something else. You know he wasn't leaving those two $1 bills to his server.....

And yes, that Bill Cosby story is a jaw-dropper. He actually made the list (at #8 I believe). Isn't that like reverse racism? He wanted a black man to carry his bags and/or roll out the welcome mat? You'd think he'd actually be happy to see a white guy having to wait on him if that were the case. Go figure.

TBH, I have read that Tiger RARELY carries much cash on him.

Either way, most of the problem lies with how regular society treats these celebs.

I mean they are given free cars, meals, put to the front of the line at restaurants/clubs, get comped everywhere and then we wonder why they don't remember to give 15%.
