Did anyone else just see that play by Freddie Freeman?!

I agree with both of you. Not taking anything away from McCann on the play. Both played their part. Its just exciting to see Freeman, who is so young, make a play like that! McCann is a nasty player as well, but we all already know that.

~But, but, the defensive metrics say he is one of the worst first baseman. He has lost the team sooooo many runs because he is a below average defender at first.~

That was a very poor decision by Kelly Johnson or the third base coach to run on that play. If the throw was anywhere close to the plate, Johnson would have been out by 20 feet instead of 10 feet.
