One of my favorite parts of Topps Chrome. They disappeared for awhile and now they are back! And the autographs are very nice this year. Has anyone seen an atomic refractor in hand?

I like the look of the black, I agree with you about the Sepia though, seems pointless.

Too bad the Latos black refractor on ebay is pretty off center.

Right now I'm fine with the more the merrier. I haven't compiled a rainbow in awhile.
The Atomics look really nice. So is it base, /499, /199, /100, /99, /50, /25, /10, /1, and the four plates?

And the blue /99. What is /10?

Just wait until Finest:

- New! Canary Diamond - 1/1!

- Framed Printing Plates - 1/1!
- Purple - Numbered* to 5
- New! Die-Cut Mosaic - Numbered to 10*
- Red - Numbered* to 25
- Gold - Numbered* to 50
- New! Orange - Numbered* to 99
- Green - Numbered* to 199
- New! X-Fractor - Numbered* to 299
- Refractor - Numbered*

And that's just hobby....I'm sure blue and some other color will make an appearance in retail....

I love chrome parallels so I don't mind. UD Heroes was a really fun set except for the slew of people that didn't belong (Luke Scott, Felix Pie, Daric Barton, Garrett Atkins, Chris Duncan come to mind).

Masterpieces was great as well except for 2007, they had like 3 or 4 different parallels #'d/50. And a couple of them were VERY similar in color, then they named them "Hades" and "Blue Steel" or something. ::facepalm::

Topps Chrome and Finest are by far my favorite sets. 2006 Finest is easily my favorite set of all time. I really wish they would go back to the color xfractor parallels again.

I want to see a full rainbow in refractor and xfractor form PLUS black and atomics. You don't need 50 rookies in the set either. Just take the top 10, 15, or 20 (10 if the rookies suck, 20 if it is a good crop like this year) and make the rest veterans/HOF/fan favorites. 200 cards in the set.

Base ref #'d/499
Base xfractor #'d/400
Blue ref #'d/399
Blue xfractor #'d/300
Orange ref #'d/299
Orange xfractor #'d/200
Green ref #'d/199
Atomic ref #'d/150
Green xfractor #'d/100
Black ref #'d/99
Black xfractor #'d/75
Gold ref #'d/50
Red ref #'d/25
Atomic ref die-cut #'d/25
Gold xfractor #'d/10
Purple ref #'d/10
Red xfractor #'d/5
Purple xfractor #'d/5
Superfractor #'d/1

:D :)

It wasn't the 3 /50 versions that were the problem, it's the 7 or so 1/1's and the blacks and greens are difficult to tell the difference. Hades and Blue Steel are easy to tell the difference.
